Kayla Gorton began her career in the legal industry in 2006 and holds Bachelors in Criminology and in Law from The University of New England. She was admitted as a Solicitor in New South Wales in 2015.
Kayla has also completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (Merit) from Australian National University, and a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Behavioural Science from Swinburne University.
Prior to starting Law, Kayla also completed a Diploma in Children’s Services.
Kayla brings with her diverse experience across many areas of law including family law, estate planning, criminal law and litigation. Kayla is a member of the Hunter Valley Law Society and Hunter Valley Family Law Practitioners Association.
Kayla grew up in the Hunter Valley and enjoys ties to a number of local associations and community groups. She enjoys reading, cooking, and enjoys relaxing at home with her pets.
